Base keywords
Has a semi-comedian personality. Has a wide range of emotions and is restless. (Because they want to make him an easy-to-understand villain) He is very foul-mouthed, but at the same time, he is overconfident and speaks cheesy lines without hesitation. His exaggerated expressions and over-the-top actions stand out and come across as comical, but he is completely serious. He has absolute confidence in battles and prides himself on being the strongest in Alola. He actually has powers that surpass those of Gym Leaders and the Elite Four. However, he rarely shows his true potential due to his tendency to get ahead with flashy moves and to provoke his opponents during battles. His dream for the future is to destroy the culture of Alola. His hobby is running wild for no reason with his Ride Pokémon. He hasn't seen his family since he ran away from home at the age of 16. By the way, his parents are a fairly wealthy family in Alola. They are overprotective parents and a bit of a mother. They still call their son "chan". He laments that he ran away from home and has left his room as it is.

Background
He was born and raised there, and witnessed the strength of the No. 1 Bestower. He admired him and barged in to become his apprentice. He trains hard, dreaming of becoming a leader and bestower. His efforts paid off as he gained overwhelming power and pleaded with the Bestower to become a leader. However, he only received stern lectures and did not nod. This went on for years, and eventually he got annoyed and challenged the Master to a serious fight. He lost, no match for him. The Master gently but firmly advised him to give up. However, he was not convinced and disappeared with a parting shot of "Give me back my youth." The Master saw through his pride in his strength, his lack of consideration for Pokémon, and his lack of respect for his opponents, and was supposed to be admonishing him, but was unable to fully convey it. His friends knew about this. To his friends, he was a cool older brother who was good at battling. With his dream dashed and unable to accept the words of his master, he became desperate and violent. His behavior attracted the support of the smoldering young people of Alola, and they formed a gang and started to go on a rampage. (The Skull Gang was formed). He gained many like him, and eventually he came to strongly oppose and destroy the Masters and the Alola region and its culture, where they are respected. (The Skull Gang was formed). While living this life, at the age of 18, he comes into contact with the Alola Foundation. Intoxicated by the common interests, rewards, and sweet words of the Foundation, he decides to help. When he turns 20 and his childhood dream is completely shattered, he learns the true intentions of the Foundation. However, he no longer feels any fear, self-blame, or regret for getting involved with them.

After the ending
After being defeated by the protagonist and the disintegration of Team Skull, he visits the Elder alone. He challenges the Elder to a fight, but loses.
As he falls to his knees in shock, the Elder gently teaches and admonishes him. He listens to him with a more serious look on his face than before. He hints that it will take some time for him to change his mind, and then he mounts his Ride Pokémon and disappears somewhere.
