This Pokémon rules over Egcite and Egxel. When approaching its burrow, you may feel the temperature become warmer. It tries to create the perfect environment for its eggs to hatch.

Name origin: egg + exciting + king
Egxiking was designed for the second run of the Easter event in 2022, which came as an expansion to the 2020 event. It was designed as if Egxel was a Johto mon getting a Sinnoh evolution — with its big round body and sort of weird design — gaining a Fire type! Egcite and Egxel's dex entries used to mention the moon, but because of this new type the references were changed to the Sun instead. In my opinion, it means they became a tiny bit more unique, too.
