Folklore says that Oxessory is the ghost of a Pokémon that lost its tongue, and that's why it's always sticking its tongue out. People revere the Whimsical form for its graceful moves and wits.

Name origin: ox + accessory

Designed after the folklore tradition of the Bumba Meu Boi, it was originally just named Bumboi. Although this name may sound fine to brazilians, everyone else kept mentioning it just sounded like bum boy, so I changed it to Oxessory.
