It's said that when Beetome eat books, they become smarter. A lot of trainers feed them dictionaries and literature classics because of this, but there is no scientific proof for that.

Name origin: beetle + tome (like a book)
The original early bugs for Okeno were similar to Beautifly and Dustox, with split evolutions turning into either a Monarch Butterfly or an Emperor Moth. They felt a bit too european, so I replaced them with Beetome. The move Royal Decree was meant to be their signature move, which is why Beetome learns it.
