Pressure and temperature have made Ignew's rock exterior even tougher. Metarock is capable of taking explosions without being damaged, and can even be found underwater.
Name origin: metamorphic rock
At some point in time, the Okeno geodude-trope rock-type line was a stalagmite that evolved into Stalagmight, a rock-type horse-shaped mon. Metarock's quadrupedal design is consequence of that.
